Dear readers on a mission to heal,
I want to share my most favorite smoothie recipe so others can enjoy this divine deliciousness:
-A bunch of ripe spotty bananas (5-7)
-2 cups of frozen mangos
-2 cups of frozen dragonfruit(pitaya)
-1 or 2 cups of mixed berries
-A handful of dried dates
-A generous chunk of peeled ginger
-Some filtered water to blend
(Use organic fruits when possible. Tidbit: Some membership bulk stores sell bulk organic frozen fruits in the frozen section- which are pretty affordable and delicious. Occasionally frozen dragonfruit (pitaya) is sold as well.
This recipe is so refreshing and invigorating, and has a gorgeous vibrant color. We should be consuming beautiful food! That makes us glow with beautiful health!
I have to say that recently when I started adding fresh ginger into my daily fruit smoothies it reinvigorated my excitement about smoothie recipes again. I have been drinking a fruit smoothie almost every day for the past 4 years, but I wanted to mix it up and add some tropical invigorating freshness to the taste of my smoothie drinks. Adding fresh ginger is a game changer (if you enjoy the ginger taste). So I highly recommend it to spice up your raw smoothies, juices, and salads!
Smoothies have been such a staple in my raw vegan lifestyle since they are satiating, rich in nutrients/living enzymes, comforting, and make my day brighter with their beautiful colors and unique taste that I get to change up daily. They have been one of the key methods to healing my adrenals and neurological system because I add in ample organic bananas, organic berries and dried dates which are rich in phytonutrients, specifically minerals, and flavanoids which are incredible at supporting the endocrine glands and neurological system
It is such a blessing to think back at the large amount of raw vegan meals including smoothies, juices, entrees, and simple fruit and green snacks I have had over the years. And I look forward to many more vibrant, electromagnetic, nourishing, healing, uplifting, blissful, colorful, cleansing, cellular regenerating, and inspiring raw vegan meals in the many years to come. I sit here in immense gratitude that raw foods have opened a portal in my life to unexpected blessings and dreams coming true. I am exactly where I am meant to be and every time I nourish myself with raw fruits and greens – my soul journey and heart path opens and unblocks even more guiding me towards more fulfilled blessings. Helping me meander through challenges and struggles, ebbs and flows of life, with resilience, wisdom and health because years ago I decided to start caring about myself and my body.
This is how interconnected healing is. One begins to heal the body, the spirit and mind – liberating it in empowerment from toxic chemicals/foods, thoughts, programs, indocrinations, authority, supression, blockages – and one begins to heal their entire Life.
This is Life reclamation
In natural health and love,
Anett
